SPX Plenty pumps: for lubrication systems and fuel oil transfer

Published by
Hydrocarbon Engineering,

The SPX Plenty brand offers a range of screw and vane pumps, which are used for the pumping of heavy viscous liquids in multiple applications within the oil and gas industry.

The Plenty Triro is a range of triple screw pumps, which provide reliable, quiet, pulse free operation. They are ideal for the forced lubrication, either direct driven or as part of an API 614 oil systems, for a wide variety of rotating machinery, such as turbines, compressors, blowers and boiler feed pumps. With vibration-free operation at noise levels typically less than 70 db, the pumps minimise noise pollution.

The Plenty Triro triple screw pumps are designed to run at high speeds, while handling viscous products. This offers high efficiency and results in a compact, space saving solution that delivers a constant, stable flow of fluid. The latest model of Triro Triple Screw Pump, the C100-3, is an extension to the present C-Range, designed to satisfy the increased flowrate demands as required by the major rotating equipment manufacturers.

Also within SPX's Plenty brand is the Twinro two-screw pump which offers an ideal solution for applications such as the bulk transfer of heavy fuels. The two and three screw pumps along with the unique design vane pumps that SPX provide are all designed to handle heavy, viscous products and are well proven within the oil and gas industry.

SPX will customise Plenty pumps to meet specific customer needs, examples of which include: the relocation of suction and discharge nozzles, specific design for confined space, multiple units provided on a single mounting plate for easy installation or the provision of a special seal or heating jacket. Scope of supply can be anything from a bare shaft pump through to complete packages with pumps, motors, steam turbines, diesel engines, base plates, common skids, filters and differential pressure gauges.

SPX will work closely with its customers to ensure exact requirements are met and real value is added to the product supply.
