Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Tracerco, part of Johnson Matthey Plc, has launched a new augmented reality (AR) application – ‘Insight through AR’, bringing its advanced range of nucleonic instrumentation to life.
Through the use of AR technology and animation, Tracerco’s new application will allow those working in the oil and gas, petrochemical and refining industries to visualise in a real-world environment, how its range of instrumentation can provide accurate and reliable, multiphase and bulk level, density and interface measurements, whilst on the go, or from the comfort of their own office / at home.
Neil Murch, Business Development Manager – EMEAC at Tracerco commented, “We are delighted to have collaborated with Animmersion UK Ltd, a 3D visualisation and immersive technology developer, to bring our advanced range of nucleonic instrumentation to life. By using AR, we can provide our customers with an interactive and immersive experience that will enable them to visualise how our solutions can help solve their most challenging process control and measurement applications.”
The application is available for download on both Apple and Android devices.
