Diaphragm pumps

Bran+Luebbe is an SPX brand and has been a leading name in the design and engineering of diaphragm pump technology for over 80 years, including complete pump packages and systems. Its double diaphragm pumps provide safe, virtually leak free solutions with reliable and acute operation and, once they are set to a given flow rate and pressure, operation is simple with no further adjustments required. Two of its pumps, the NOVADOS double acting metering pump and NOVAPLEX Vector process pump, are specifically designed to reduce footprint and weight for use where space is a premium, assure reliability, and reduce total cost of ownership.

The NOVADOS DADD metering pump offers high efficiency and performance in a more compact form by using just one gear instead of two. The pump delivers the same capacity of an equivalent duplex pump but its reduced footprint area and lower weight make it ideal for offshore applications or installations where space is a premium.

Heat exchangers

From its APV brand, SPX provides a wide range of plate heat exchanger technologies that improve thermal management and increase efficiency in both fossil fuelled and nuclear power generation as well as district heating units. Lightweight and highly efficient heat transfer surfaces combine with robust and compact designs to deliver reliable performance and maximum heat efficiency in demanding process conditions across a wide range of power generation technologies. Widely used in low to medium pressure heat transfer applications, SPX solutions play an important role in applications ranging from cooling and heating to condensing and evaporation of process fluids.

Lubrication and fuel oil

The SPX Plenty brand offers a wide range of screw and vane pumps which are used for the pumping of heavy viscous liquids in multiple applications within the oil and gas industry. The pumps are supported by in depth understanding of technology and application along with the flexibility of efficient product customisation to exactly meet project requirements.

The Plenty Trio is a range of triple screw pumps which provide reliable, quiet, pulse free operation. They are ideal for the forced lubrication of rotating machinery, such as turbines, compressors, blowers and boiler feed pumps. With vibration free operation at noise levels less than 70dB the pumps minimise noise pollution, simplify installation requirements and do not have detrimental effect on downstream equipment.

Multi stage pumps

ClydeUnion Pumps, an SPX brand, provides pumping solutions with particular expertise in oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation applications. Complying with the latest edition of API 610 standards, the CUP-BB3 pump is an axially split, multi stage, double volute heavy duty pump designed for high pressure and high speed service. The pump is designed for exceptional reliability in arduous applications, easy maintenance and long service intervals.

TheCUP-BB3 is a well proven solution with a large global installed base, particularly in downstream oil and gas applications. In response to market demands, prices have been reduced through efficiency savings and exceptionally short lead times for this popular pump are now available. SPX has a keen focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Its export manufacturing and project management capability was proven during 2014 when its ClydeUnion Pumps BB3 centre of excellence facility achieved 100% on time delivery for the CUP-BB3.
