Quest Integrity has announced the release of Signal™ Fitness-for-Service (FFS), Version 5.0, which features compliance with the new API 579/ASME FFS-1 2016 standard.
“Signal FFS is an expert software tool that allows asset managers to reduce operational and safety risk associated with equipment through its comprehensive adherence to industry standards. The newest version of Signal FFS complies with the recent API 579/ASME FFS-1 2016 publication, ensuring the highest quality assessment and data capabilities for all Fitness-for-Service needs,” said Devon Brendecke, Manager, Advanced Engineering at Quest Integrity.
In observance of the new API 579/ASME FFS-1 2016 standard, Signal FFS 5.0 features numerous updates, including residual stress profiles and Charpy correlations for crack analyses. This software release also includes significant improvements in evaluation of circumferential extent of local metal loss, and revised minimum limits for corrosion in thin walled piping.
Signal Fitness-For-Service 5.0 also features refined assessment of metal loss and improved input parameter reporting summaries.
