Professionals will be able to learn about firefighting techniques, fire behaviour, chemical agents and incident command and control. Williams Fire & Hazard Control instructors will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to help effectively resolve emergencies and understand inherent risks by sharing the experience they have gained fighting more than 200 of the world’s toughest industrial fires, including extinguishing one of the largest storage tank fires on record in the US.

To elevate their experience, attendees will take part in live firefighting exercises, working with instructors to cover innovative tactics and specialty fire protection equipment for petrochemical, oil and gas applications. Exercises will include three-dimension pressure-fed fires, pooling fires and fires involving fuel-in-depth. Further fire-field training will focus on incident pre-planning, hydro-chem and hydro-foam operations, large volume logistics, hand-line attacks and proper foam proportioning and foam application.

Thierry Moinet, Sales Director, Foam and Foam Hardware EMEA, Johnson Controls, commented, “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers in the EMEA region and adding value to their businesses by providing them with the opportunity to interact with trained professionals, offering practical and actionable guidance on tackling extreme, real-life fire scenarios. Our workshop is extremely well received in the US, and we hope to achieve the same success in Europe.”
