Hydrocarbon Engineering,
TOYO has announced a new partnership with Koch-Glitsch to distribute its SUPERHIDIC® energy-saving distillation system to new global markets in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2014, the distillation system was selected to enhance energy conservation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions at Maruzen Petrochemical Co. Ltd in Japan. The world’s first commercial plant with SUPERHIDIC® technology started operating in Japan last year, with actual energy conservation above 50%.
The companies believe that the partnership will bring value to customers in refinery and petrochemical fields that are interested in maximising energy savings and output.
TOYO’s decision to partner with Koch-Glitsch to make SUPERHIDIC available to customers is a result of the companies’ collaboration on multiple successful distillation projects.
