Effective 15 March 2017, or as soon as contracts allow, DuPont Performance Materials will increase prices for all Zytel®, Zytel® HTN, Minlon®, Hytrel®, Crastin® and Rynite® products.
Zytel polymers and compounds, Zytel HTN, Minlon and Hytrel will be increased by the equivalent of US$300/t. Crastin and Rynite products will be increased by the equivalent of US$250/t. This will be applied globally and higher increases may be required for some specialty grades. This price increase is needed as a result of the continued sharp escalation in the cost of certain key raw materials and is in addition to the price increases announced on 2 February 2017.
