Pieridae Energy engages financial advisors

Pieridae Energy Ltd has engaged Morgan Stanley & Co LLC and SG Americas Securities LLC (Société Générale) to serve as financial advisors for its Goldboro LNG project.

Pieridae intends to raise up to US$10 billion in equity and project financing to fulfil its mandate to become the first independently operated integrated LNG project in North America.

“We are extremely proud to have partnered up with such prestigious organisations as Morgan Stanley and Société Générale. We believe their involvement in the project is a testament to the creditability of Pieridae Energy’s progress to date,” said the company’s CEO, Alfred Sorensen.

The Goldboro LNG project consists of an LNG processing facility, storage tanks, power plant and marine works to be located in the County of Guysborough, Nova Scotia, Canada.
