Fluenta, a global leader in ultrasonic measurement and management technology, has announced a two year framework agreement with Statoil.

The framework agreement positions Fluenta as a preferred supplier of flare gas meters to Statoil, and will streamline the order and delivery process by fixing cost and other contract terms for a period of two years.

Sigurd Aase, CEO of Fluenta, commented, “Fluenta has supplied Statoil with a number of flare gas meters in the past and has consistently proven the quality of its ultrasonic measurement technology, commitment to compliance and dedicated customer support.”

Aase continued, “The new framework agreement demonstrates Statoil’s ongoing commitment to be the most carbon efficient oil and gas producer in the world, ensuring it has access to the most accurate flare gas measurement technology available.”

In more than 30 years of business, Fluenta has become a global leader in the measurement, monitoring and management of flow. The company leads in ultrasonic technology – by far the most accurate means by which to measure the flow of liquid or gas.

Fluenta’s flare gas monitoring solutions have been deployed hundreds of times by the largest oil companies and in some of the most challenging environments in the world.
