Occupational Health and Safety award

Foster Wheeler’s UK subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded its fifth consecutive Order of Distinction Award for Occupational Health and Safety. This prestigious prize has been given by the UK’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPC). The company have also received its 19th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award for outstanding health and safety performance on UK and international projects.

The Order of Distinction is RoSPA’s highest achievement and is presented to companies which have received at least 15 consecutive Gold Awards on projects around the world.

The RoPSA

Dating back to 1956, the RoPSA Occupational Health and Safety Awards scheme is the largest and longest running program of its kind in the UK. The award recognises all companies globally regardless of sector or size and does not look at just accident reports but all health and safety systems implemented within a company.
