Air Products has announced that it has awarded US$ 25 000 in scholarships to thirty students from three leading universities in East China.
The scholarship presentation ceremony took place on 15 April, concurrent with Air Products’ University Student Experience Day in its Asia Technology Center located in Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. At the event, approximately 40 students and teachers learned how innovation and cutting-edge gas technologies and applications can help to address environmental challenges via reduced emissions, improve energy efficiency and increased productivity.
Launched in 2008, Air Products scholarships are granted to exceptional students based on their overall performance, academic achievement, innovation and financial need. So far this year, fifty university students in China have received the scholarships. In the past six years, more than 330 students have benefitted from the scheme.
Recipients mainly study Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science.
