Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Woodside has announced that it has successfully completed additional work at Pluto LNG and has restarted LNG production.
On 11 June 2019, Woodside advised that the Pluto LNG turnaround was completed as planned but the mixed refrigerant compressor experienced vibration on restart. As a result, further activities extending the turnaround were commenced to achieve the restart of production, which has now been successfully achieved.
Woodside expects that its 2019 production will be at the lower end of the 88 – 94 million boe guidance range, due to the turnaround extension.
