Petrofac secures additional scope of work from Tatweer Petroleum

Petrofac’s Engineering & Production Services East business has been awarded a multi-million dollar additional scope of work in Bahrain from Tatweer Petroleum, following its installation of a 500 million ft3/d gas dehydration facility for the client.

Under the terms of the additional scope of work contract, Petrofac will execute on a lump-sum turnkey basis the EPC of additional gas wells and connect them to the gas dehydration facility.

Mani Rajapathy, Managing Director, Eastern Hemisphere, Engineering & Production Services, commented: “We are delighted to have secured this additional scope of work with Tatweer Petroleum, having already delivered the existing facility.

“The project is integral to the Kingdom’s future energy strategy to increase the production of natural gas. We look forward to our continued partnering with this important client and the safe and efficient delivery of these further wells.”
