Tank Storage Germany, the region’s largest dedicated event for terminal operators, oil companies, traders and regulators, will return to Hamburg Messe on 25 - 26 November 2015.
The leading event for the German bulk liquid storage industry, with over 100 stands signed up, has seen a 20% increase on last year, meaning it is a sell out show for the second year running. The event not only has an expanded show floor but more innovation than ever before, with many suppliers using the event to launch new products and services to the tank storage sector, for instance, Atexor Oy will be launching its portable SLAM SPLITTER EX, the latest addition to its SLAM HIGH TEMP range. Similarly, FNC will be showing its new Breather Valve and new Flame Arrestor.
“We knew that the appetite for a show like Tank Storage Germany was there when we launched, but we are thrilled with just how receptive the region has been to our show. Germany has the largest number of tank terminals in Europe, as well as boasting a total capacity of over 70 million m3. Yet with much of it being geared towards supporting the inland supply chain, the market dynamics are very different to those in the ARA region. For all of those looking to get involved in this region our event is really not to be missed,” Nick Powell, StocExpo & Tank Storage Portfolio Event Manager.
“With the show opening in just a few weeks it is great to see everything come together. The Hamburg Messe is a special venue and right at the heart of everything tank storage focused. The growth we have witnessed this year has been outstanding and we can look forward to seeing a continued growth of exhibitors and visitors over the coming years.”
Tank Storage Germany welcomes back a strong line up of industry supporters, which includes Bremenports, InterTank, Petrotank, TanQuid GmbH & Co. KG and The Port of Hamburg. “We are delighted with the support these industry powerhouses have already shown us and we want to extend a thank you to them for their continued efforts in helping make our show such a success,” said Powell.
More than just an expanding exhibition, Tank Storage Germany 2015 also features a two day conference programme that provides delegates with the opportunity to gain insights on a local and international scale. Urs Beckmann, COO, at TanQuid GmbH & Co. KG will be presenting ‘Strategic alliances and operational implications of service level agreements to increase flexibility and performance’. Beckmann will explore the major players and game plans, supply chain levelling, core service level elements and the outlook on future relationships.
New technologies and concepts will take centre stage at Tank Storage Germany 2015. The innovations and technologies span the entire supply spectrum. Elaflex will be showing its hose assemblies and expansion joints for petrochemical, marine and industrial applications. Mascoat is presenting its Industrial-DTI, designed to be a multiple purpose coating that solves insulating and Corrosion Under Insulation issues. Buchen Tank and Turnaround Service will be showcasing its Automatic Jet Washer Systems.
For those looking for pump and valve solutions, ITT Bornemann will display its Twin-Screw Pumps, which are self-priming, double ended positive displacement pumps with external timing gears and bearings. Crane Process Flow Technologies is introducing its DEPA DH Next Generation Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps and Mankenberg will be displaying its pilot-operated Control Valve RP840, which protects tank systems and products through tank blanketing with nitrogen. Omni Valve will be focusing on its OmniSeal Double Block & Bleed expanding plug valve while visitors to the Ebro Armaturen stand will be able to see its vibrating dosing valve, ViDos.
Where emissions are an issue, Borsig Membrane Technology will be showcasing its Vapour Recovery Unit, designed to reduce emissions at storage terminals, petrochemical production sites and refineries, while ENDEGS will be presenting its Mobile Vapor Combustion Units to the German market.
SZE Hagenuk GmbH will be using Tank Storage Germany 2015 to demonstrate its Professional Leak Detection Location system, LeaCom. Similarly on the quality control front, Inventure Technologies will launch its new web-based software program, RB-IT Piping Integrity Software.
