Tank Storage Germany: Show Preview

Hydrocarbon Engineering,

Tank Storage Germany, the region’s largest dedicated event for terminal operators, oil companies, traders and regulators, will return to Hamburg Messe on 25 - 26 November 2015.

Show highlights

The leading event for the German bulk liquid storage industry, with over 100 stands signed up, has seen a 20% increase on last year, meaning it is a sell out show for the second year running. The event not only has an expanded show floor but more innovation than ever before, with many suppliers using the event to launch new products and services to the tank storage sector, for instance, Atexor Oy will be launching its portable SLAM SPLITTER EX, the latest addition to its SLAM HIGH TEMP range. Similarly, FNC will be showing its new Breather Valve and new Flame Arrestor.

“We knew that the appetite for a show like Tank Storage Germany was there when we launched, but we are thrilled with just how receptive the region has been to our show. Germany has the largest number of tank terminals in Europe, as well as boasting a total capacity of over 70 million m3. Yet with much of it being geared towards supporting the inland supply chain, the market dynamics are very different to those in the ARA region. For all of those looking to get involved in this region our event is really not to be missed,” Nick Powell, StocExpo & Tank Storage Portfolio Event Manager.

“With the show opening in just a few weeks it is great to see everything come together. The Hamburg Messe is a special venue and right at the heart of everything tank storage focused. The growth we have witnessed this year has been outstanding and we can look forward to seeing a continued growth of exhibitors and visitors over the coming years.”

Tank Storage Germany welcomes back a strong line up of industry supporters, which includes Bremenports, InterTank, Petrotank, TanQuid GmbH & Co. KG and The Port of Hamburg. “We are delighted with the support these industry powerhouses have already shown us and we want to extend a thank you to them for their continued efforts in helping make our show such a success,” said Powell.

More than just an expanding exhibition, Tank Storage Germany 2015 also features a two day conference programme that provides delegates with the opportunity to gain insights on a local and international scale. Urs Beckmann, COO, at TanQuid GmbH & Co. KG will be presenting ‘Strategic alliances and operational implications of service level agreements to increase flexibility and performance’. Beckmann will explore the major players and game plans, supply chain levelling, core service level elements and the outlook on future relationships.
