TKH Security Solutions USA will present a paper on automatic flare stack monitoring at the 2017 Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) at ATCE. The event takes place between 9 – 11 October 2017 in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
TKH’s automatic flare detection and monitoring system is computer vision-based, plug-and-play and designed as a built-in part of the camera. This is an automatic flare stack monitoring system with flare size tracking and automatic event signaling.
The system has been tested for live monitoring in the Rotterdam Botlek area, the Netherlands. Preliminary results illustrate a reliable system free of false alarms.
