Encana Corporation selects PROSERNAT technology
The Canadian company Encana Corporation has selected PROSERNAT to provide the technology licenses for eight new IFPEXOLTM units to be located in NE British Columbia, Canada. This contract is part of Encana Cut Bank Ridge Development Program.
The eight IFPEXOL units, with a total processing capacity of 1600 million ft3/d of feed gas, are being designed for gas dehydration and hydrocarbon dew point control. The IFPEXOL technology has been developed by IFP Energies nouvelles and used in many projects both onshore and offshore for simultaneous water and hydrocarbon dewpointing of natural gases. This will be the first application on shale gases, a field of application for which this technology requiring a minimum number of equipment items seems especially suitable.
