Rosneft, Avestra Chemical, and Far East Gas sign cooperation memorandum

Rosneft, Avestra Chemical SA, and Manzhouli Far East Gas Co. Ltd signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding over cooperation in supplies of propylene and other types of LPG to China.

The document confirms intentions of the parties to evaluate prospects of long-term supplies of up to 200k tpy of LPG and propylene produced by Rosneft from the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China, and the use of capacities of the Far East Gas terminal for LPG and propylene transhipment.

The total planned capacity of the Far East Gas terminal is up to 3 million tpy of LPG and propylene.

Lloyd’s Register and Pusan National University announce partnership
