Ebara safety milestone

Ebara International Corporation (EIC) Cryodynamics Division, is proud to announce a major safety milestones of six years without lost time injury, or six consecutive years without an employee loss of time due to an accident or injury. This impressive achievement demonstrates EIC’s commitment to a safety first culture that resonates throughout the organisation.

Comments

John Holt, VP Human Resources said, ‘not only is this a major milestone for EIC Cryodynamics, it is very significant in our industry to experience this length of time without incurring any lost time workplace injuries. This demonstrates our prevailing commitment to workplace safety in our highly engineered manufacturing facility.’

Dan Egesdahl, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager said, ‘because of the nature of our manufacturing, it is imperative that our employees follow very strict guidelines. We hold monthly safety committee meetings and a well, perform monthly, quarterly and annual extensive safety training classes. Based on this major milestone, we are able to measure the significant impact that not only our safety training and procedures, but also our employees’ commitment and attention to adhering to all of our procedures. Our employees know safety comes first.’

Safety culture

EIC Cryodynamics’ primary goal is the health and safety of all employees and surrounding communities and incorporates the safest design for rotating equipment in the industry operating under a comprehensive and stringent Process Safety Management Program. The program is in the forefront of operations and undergoes constant review and improvement. This program complies with US regulations Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions and with Department of Labor, OSHA Process Safety Management.
