Spain
Tecnicas Reunidas has signed a concession contract for the modernization of Peruvian state oil company Petroperu’s Talara refinery.
The project will require an investment outlay of US$ 3.5 billion. The upgrade will include construction of fuel desulfurization facilities and a flexicoking unit, which will be the first of its kind in Latin America.
India
Indian Oil Corp is aiming to start crude processing at its 300 000 bpd Paradip refinery by August or September.
The company’s head of refineries said: “This year, we have planned to run it at 60% capacity and for the next year we have planned 100% capacity”.

Lancaster County’s first CNG station has been dedicated at the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority’s (LCSWMA) facility. The station is a US$ 4.8 million project that includes 14 CNG refuse trucks for LCSWMA.
Tennessee
A new natural gas vehicle fuelling station has been opened in Sevierville. It is the first NGV fuelling station in the Dollywood region, and one of only a few operating in the state.
The Sevier County Utility District (SCUD) is partnering with Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort to provide CNG powered trolleys for resort guest transportation to the Dollywood theme park and Dollywood Spash County waterpark. SCUD will house, maintain and fuel the fleet of six 20 – 40 passenger trolleys.
