FMC Technologies, Inc. announced on 1st March that is has been named the 2012 World’s Most Admired Company in the Oil and Gas Equipment Services industry by FORTUNE® Magazine.

The rankings are based on a survey of approximately 15 000 senior executives, outside directors and industry analysts. Companies were evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Innovation.
  • People management.
  • Use of corporate assets.
  • Social responsibility.
  • Quality of management.
  • Financial soundness.
  • Quality of products/services.
  • Long term investment.
  • Global competitiveness.
