Actemium selects Intergraph to implement new engineering methodology

Actemium Oil & Gas Major Projects, a global multi-technology engineering service provider, has chosen to further strengthen its cooperation with Intergraph^® Process, Power & Marine to increase productivity and efficiency in increasingly complex engineering projects. The extended agreement covers Intergraph’s next generation 3D design solution Intergraph Smart™ 3D, Intergraph SmartPlant^® P&ID for piping and instrumentation diagrams and Intergraph SmartPlant Foundation for plant information management.

Actemium Oil & Gas Major Projects is a part of Actemium, the VINCI Energies’ brand dedicated to industrial processes. Actemium offers engineering solutions covering the whole production facility lifecycle, improving the industrial performance and safety. In order to provide engineering services to the most complex, large turnkey projects, Actemium Oil & Gas Major Projects sought a solution to optimise efficiency, ensure safety and improve integration capabilities of its engineering software. The company was examining options for a modern, high quality 3D design and P&ID creation in an integrated environment.Intergraph solutions were chosen primarily for the high integration capability between the different engineering disciplines.
