Gazprom and United Heavy Machinery Plants to cooperate

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Mikhail Smirnov, Chief Executive Officer of United Heavy Machinery Plants (OMZ), have announced they have signed an Agreement of Cooperation at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.
Pursuant to the document, Gazprom and OMZ will cooperate in designing and outfitting a gas treatment unit at the Slavyanskaya compressor station (CS). The CS will be one of the largest facilities of the Russian Unified Gas Supply System, and will feed gas into the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
