CH2M Hill

Women engineers from CH2M Hill have joined the ‘Your Life’ campaign launch to inspire young people to study maths and science at A Level in a bid to develop a skilled UK workforce ready for the careers of tomorrow. The event, which was hosted by Education Secretary, The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP, saw over 200 educators, entrepreneurs and business leaders come together to explore the future jobs landscape and discover how business and government can work together to inspire young people to study science and maths to help develop careers in the science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) sectors.

With the UK in the midst of an infrastructure boom, engineering and programme management companies such as CH2M Hill are looking to school and college students to become the next generation of engineers that will help build the infrastructure of tomorrow. Following the launch of the ‘Your Life’ campaign in May this year by the Chancellor, The Rt Hon George Osborne MP, CH2M Hill has become a strong advocate for the campaign and since the initial launch has increased its STEM programmes in schools, skills and employment fairs and apprenticeship programme.
