Hydrocarbon Engineering,

The House of Lords Energy and Environment Sub-Committee will next week publish its report on Brexit: environment and climate change. The report examines what the UK's key interests are in environment and climate change policy and the level of co-operation needed with the EU to protect the UK’s environmental standards.

During the course of its inquiry the Committee has heard evidence from a range of witnesses including Government ministers Jesse Norman MP, Minister for Industry and Energy at BEIS and Thérèse Coffey MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Environment and Rural Life Opportunities at Defra. The Committee also heard from leading academics; non-government organisations (NGOs) such as Greenpeace and the RSPB; as well as experts from the Committee on Climate Change, IPPR and the Chemical Industries Association.
