From dirt to consumption: solutions for water movement, treatment, and reuse in upstream, midstream, and downstream/refining process

Water is inseparable from energy production. Long before a barrel of crude becomes jet fuel, gasoline, or the feedstock for plastics and hydrogen, water plays a critical role at every stage of extraction, processing, and refining. Water is central to production, compliance, and the fundamental right to operate. This idea is top-of mind of the operators on the ground running the processes to the companies that hold the leases and own the oilfields and refineries. Water is not a peripheral concern, its management is essential to the success of the energy stream.

Applications along the processing pipeline are addressed in different ways. Solutions for produced water sites are highly customised based on water chemistry and can be delivered by mobile, rapid response. Water treatment at refineries can be mobile or permanent, and also highly customised.

In addition to addressing water related issues along the pipeline, the webinar will explore how produced water can be treated and monetised for a broader reuse market. Attendees will learn:

  • Why water management is mission-critical.
  • Upstream produced water challenges and solutions.
  • Midstream water demands across pipeline and processing assets.
  • Precision refinery treatment (boiler feedwater, cooling, wastewater biological/polishing, and hydrogen feedstock).
  •  Emergency support and partnership models.
  •  Monetising treated produced water
