The 173 400 m3 FSRU will be built at DSME's shipyard in Geoje, South Korea, on behalf of Maran Gas Maritime. This will be the first FSRU to be added to the Maran Gas Maritime fleet. Delivery is scheduled for 2020.
Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT, said: "GTT is very pleased to continue its excellent partnership with DSME and Maran Gas Maritime. This new order demonstrates their high confidence in our NO96 technology, which fits LNG carriers as well as other LNG storage vessels such as FSUs, FSRUs, FLNGs."
