TechnipFMC has split into two independent companies: TechnipFMC and Technip Energies.

Sibur's Amur Gas Chemical Complex in Eastern Siberia, Russia, could start operations by mid-2024.

The upgrade is part of an expansion of the facility to incorporate propylene and polypropylene production and increase the supply of petrochemical products to domestic and international customers.

This partnership will see the two companies co-operating in the field of carbon management by accelerating the implementation of technologies to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The technologies will be used at Shandong Yulong's planned petrochemical complex in Longkou, Shandong Province, China.

Dan Williamson, a spokesman for the project, said that there were "very substantive conversations going on with a number of companies".

The partnership will aim to advance the understanding of catalyst properties and their performance, while Clariant will also sponsor and collaborate in fundamental chemical research projects with the university.

The two companies will co-operate on strategic projects in Africa to provide and finance centrifugal pumps and associated equipment on attractive financing terms.

Hengyi Industries Sdn. Bhd., has selected Univation Technologies’ UNIPOL PE Process for its world-scale 600 000 tpy polyethylene plant to be located in Palau Muara Besar, Brunei.

The joint venture will construct a new propylene oxide and styrene monomer unit in Zhenhai Ningbo, China.
