RusTechnip, an operating joint venture between Technip and a Rostec State Corporation subsidiary CJSC, Rustechexport, has been awarded a significant service contract, worth roughly between €50 - €100 million, for the existing Gazprom Neft refinery located in Omsk, Russia.
The scope of work covers the engineering, procurement and construction management services (EPsCm) for the construction of a new crude distillation unit – vacuum distillation unit complex.
It will benefit from the knowledge gained during the front end engineering design (FEED) of the project, previously realised by the group.
This award validates Technip’s strategy of early involvement to design an effective project execution scheme. Marco Villa, President of EMIA (Europe, Russia, Middle East, India, Africa and Latin America) region, commented, “We are proud of this contract award, which is a strong recognition of our capabilities and dedication to build long lasting relationships with our clients. This contract reinforces Technip’s presence in the Russian market.”
