The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) has appointed Gregory J. Goff, Chairman, President and CEO of Tesoro Corporation, as Chairman of the Board.
Goff, who is also the Chairman and CEO of Tesoro Logistics LP, most recently served as Vice Chairman of AFPM’s Executive Committee and assumes the responsibilities of outgoing Chairman David L. Lamp, President and CEO of Northern Tier Energy GP, LLC.
“Greg’s extensive experience in the energy industry well positions him to lead AFPM during a time of political transition in Washington, D.C.,” said Lamp. “During his tenure on the AFPM Executive Committee, Greg has helped redefine the association and its role in educating policymakers on the issues that impact our industry.”
Goff joined Tesoro as President and CEO in May 2010. Prior to joining Tesoro, Goff worked for ConocoPhillips where he held a number of senior leadership positions. He has extensive international business experience across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
“I look forward to continuing to work with the AFPM to ensure that consumers maintain access to the fuels and products that they rely upon while assisting the industry to navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment,” said Goff. “On behalf of the AFPM Executive Committee, I would also like to thank Dave Lamp for his remarkable leadership these past two years.”
Goff’s term will run from 2015 through the AFPM Annual Meeting in March 2017.
