Sunoco LP acquires US fuel distributor

Sunoco LP has announced that one of its subsidiaries has entered into an agreement to purchase a wholesale motor fuel distribution business serving the North Eastern US. The purchase price will be approximately US$57 million, plus the value of the inventory on hand at the time of closing.
The business currently distributes approximately 55 million gal./y of branded and unbranded gasolines.
The transaction is anticipated to close in 4Q15, subject to customary closing conditions.
