Wison Engineering, one of the leading chemical engineering, procurement and construction management (EPC) service and technology providers in China, is pleased to announce that the company has kicked off its first EPC project in the United Arab Emirates, marking an important step forward in the Middle Eastern market.
The project, located in the west of Abu Dhabi, is part of an ethylene plant expansion project, run by a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions. Wison Engineering’s work scope includes engineering design, procurement and construction services. The project is scheduled for mechanical completion in October 2017.
The project not only signals the company’s breakthrough into the core market of the Middle East, but also showcases Wison Engineering’s wide recognition among project owners in the Middle East region. To offer more customised services to local project owners, the company has established a project execution centre and set up a local design, procurement and project management team in Abu Dhabi, which will allow the company to allocate its resources more efficiently and respond faster to local project needs.
