Alfa Laval wins SEK 65 million refinery order in Spain

Alfa Laval, a global heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling company, has received an order to supply air heat exchangers to a refinery in Spain.
The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 65 million and is expected to be delivered by 2016. The order comprises the delivery of Alfa Laval air heat exchangers, which will be used in the refinery process where low-quality heavy gas oil is refined into high-quality, clean-burning jet fuel, diesel and gasoline. The heat exchangers will be retrofitted in the plant, replacing non-Alfa Laval equipment.
“I am very pleased to announce this retrofit order where our equipment has been selected based on their endurance handling high pressures and temperatures,” said Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “The order proves that refinery customers find our products reliable and therefore highly suitable for their demanding applications.”
