API: tax reforms would encourage investment in the US

American Petroleum Institute (API) Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer, Amanda Eversole, has released the following statement urging House Ways and Means Committee members to support H.R. 3938, the Build It In America Act.
The bill would amend the tax code to help US oil and natural gas companies unleash economic growth in the nation, create jobs, and spur investment to strengthen American energy leadership.
“API applauds Chairman Smith’s dedication to ensuring the tax code allows US companies to remain competitive in global markets. This legislation will give America the tools necessary for continued domestic investment, economic growth and innovation, and allows our industry to produce the US energy American consumers and people around the world rely on."
