Quarles acquires Culpeper and Warsaw heating oil companies

On 13 October 2015 Quarles Petroleum Inc., a regional provider of fuel and fuel solutions based in Virginia, US, has purchased Whiting Oil Company in Culpeper and Northern Neck Oil Company in Warsaw from Petroleum Marketers Inc.

Whiting Oil and Northern Neck Oil provide heating oil, gasoline and diesel products to both residential and commercial customers. The Whiting Oil customer in Culpeper will be serviced from the Quarles facility based in Culpeper and the Northern Neck Oil customers will continue to be serviced from the location in Warsaw.

In addition to providing heating oil, gasoline, and diesel, Quarles also operates 120 unattended commercial fuel stations throughout the Mid-Atlantic, delivered bulk and packaged lubricants, and integrated fuel solutions for businesses.
