The Gazprom headquarters hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Nguyen Quoc Khanh, President and CEO of the PetroVietnam Oil and Gas Group.
The parties appreciated the bilateral cooperation in the hydrocarbon production area, mentioning that in 2014 Vietnam had produced 1.69 billion m3 of gas and 351 000 t of gas condensate from the Moc Tinh and Hai Thach fields. The planned production level (2 billion m3 of gas) is expected to be reached in 2016. Intense efforts are being taken to prepare the Operating Agreement on major terms and conditions of the projects for developing the Nagumanovskoye and Severo-Purovskoye fields in Russia.
The meeting also looked at the cooperation prospects in production, treatment and supply of oil and petroleum products and, in particular, at the package of documents needed to be signed for developing the Dolginskoye field and upgrading the Dung Quat refinery.
