Jacobs receives EPCM contract from ExxonMobil

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that it is has received a contract from ExxonMobil to perform engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for its Crude Flexibility Engineering and Construction Project in Beaumont, Texas.
Commenting on the project, Jacobs Group Vice President, Manual Junco, said: “We are pleased to build upon out long-term relationship with ExxonMobil and strengthen our presence at the Beaumont Refinery as we help them reach their goals on this project”. The EPCM services are planned to expand crude oil throughput at ExxonMobil’s Beaumont refinery, increase production in the jet fuel unit, and optimise energy usage by enabling the crude unit to run different crude slates.
The contract value has not been disclosed, but company officials did state that this project is a release against an existing long-term agreement.
