AmeriGas

AmeriGas Propane, Inc., the general partner of AmeriGas Partners, LP, has announced that Tony Rosback, 52 will succeed Paul Grady as Vice President and COO, effective March 23 2015. As previously announced, Grady retired from AmeriGas on January 16 2015. Rosback most recently served as Senior Director, West Region Operations and North American Logistics of Williams Scotsman, Inc., a mobile and modular space and storage solution company. Prior to joining Williams Scotsman, Rosback was Senior VP and General Manager of the West Region at The Brickman Group Ltd, a commercial landscaping and maintenance company.

DEP

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has announced that it is accepting applications for being accepted for the Pennsylvania State Clean Diesel Grant program. School districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions, state agencies, nonprofit entities, corporations, and limited liability companies or partnerships incorporated or registered in Pennsylvania that operate diesel fleets are eligible to apply.

The clean diesel program’s goal is to improve air quality by decreasing emissions from diesel powered motor vehicles. The program supports projects that repower or retrofit fleet vehicles to curb emissions; purchase and install idle reduction technology; or purchase clean alternative fuel fleet vehicles.

IGS CNG

IGS CNG Services, in conjunction with Englefield Oil, has announced the opening of their CNG fuelling station at the existing Duchess convenience store, a BP fuelling station at 3909 Alum Creek Drive, Obetz, Ohio. The station will service a growing number of Ohio businesses and citizens who are converting to NGVs as a way to save money and use clean, Ohio fuel. At the station, there are two CNG dispensers with four hoses, including two high flow and two fleet style. These dispensers would allow users to fuel their CNG vehicle in the same amount of time it would take to refuel traditional gasoline or diesel vehicles.

WPX Energy

WPX Energy is trimming its company wide workforce by approximately 8% and consolidating most of its regional office staff in Denver, Colorado, together with personnel at the company’s headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 83 employees are being notified that their positions are affected by the workforce reduction, including 44 in Tulsa, 25 in Denver, 11 in Parachute, Colorado, two in New Mexico and one in North Dakota. The company is offered affected employees severance payments and outplacement services to help with the transition.
