JSC Giprogazoochistka, a leading Russian engineering company specialising in oil and gas processing and petrochemical industries, has chosen Intergraph® Process, Power & Marine solutions to improve in-house engineering design processes. The main reason the company selected Intergraph solutions is to integrate all relevant design data in one system, Intergraph Smart™ 3D. The other purchased solutions are Intergraph SmartPlant® P&ID and Intergraph SmartPlant Interop Publisher.
With over 80 years of experience in large scale engineering projects, JSC Giprogazoochistka works in with many leading companies in the oil and gas industries. Due to the complexity of these projects, the company was looking for an intelligent 3D design solution that would enable integration of all disperse design data in one 3D model, located in one centralised system. With Intergraph Smart 3D and Intergraph SmartPlant Interop Publisher, JSC Giprogazoochistka will be able to standardise engineering processes, improve 3D design quality and flexibly work between different file types and software providers.
In the future, JSC Giprogazoochistka will use Intergraph solutions in some of its engineering projects for the petrochemical industry, in both greenfield and brownfield environments.
Commenting on the decision to extend the use of Intergraph tools, Sergey Terentjev, Deputy Director General JSC Giprogazoochistka, said, "With increasing the use of Intergraph solutions, JSC Giprogazoochistka aims to expand its services portfolio and client base. This enables us to improve project execution, reduce time needed for approval processes and improve the quality of documentation, enhancing overall engineering efficiency."
Gerhard Sallinger, Intergraph Process, Power & Marine President, said, "We at Intergraph PP&M are pleased to see that our focus on developing the highest quality plant design solutions continues to provide our customers with possibilities to succeed in this challenging economic environment. It is great to see that leading engineering companies, such as JSC Giprogazoochistka, continue to trust in our experience."
