Sandvik.com wins best corporate website
Sandvik’s website, Sandvik.com, ranks top in the category ‘Best Corporate website’, in E-space's recently released annual user survey.
This was in competition with more than 50 different group sites from Nordic companies with global presence.
The web user survey is based on visitors' answers about the appearance, structure, information, ease of use and how well the site meets their expectations. This survey was conducted during June to October 2014.
Since 2012, when Sandvik.com moved over to EPiServer web publishing system, many improvements have been implemented, for example the careers and investors sections as well as how the annual report is presented. The whole site has also been made responsive.
Commenting on the recognition, Pär Altan, Head of External Communications at Sandvik, said: “We are very pleased with this position of course and see it as a clear confirmation that we are working in the right way with our website. Now we feel even more inspired to take our web presence to the next level.”
