ASD Global partners up with AspenTech

ASD Global, a leader in knowledge-based engineering software solutions for Front-End Loading (FEL), Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), early stage detail design, and construction planning of projects for the Process, Power, and Marine industries is proud to announce it is now a Technology Partner with Aspen Technology Inc. (AspenTech).

ASD Global and AspenTech address the needs of both owner operator (OO) organisations, and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firms; to enable them to develop options for the facility, evaluate the cost of each option, and ultimately generate a more accurate cost estimate within an accelerated schedule. ASD and AspenTech help customers refine and optimise their capital project cost estimates and schedules.

ASD’s Design Automation Suite, consisting of OptiPlant, Pipe Support Optimiser, and Pipe Router is interfaced to Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, as well as Aspen Basic Engineering, and AspenHYSYS, providing an integrated 3D design environment for the early stages of a project’s development. ASD OptiPlant interfaced to Aspen Capital Cost Estimator provides a solution for cost optimisation of 3D designs during the FEL 2 and 3 stages of a project, as well as earlier in the project; and then downstream to FEED and into detail design.
