Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Fann Instrument Company announces the release of its latest offering, the DNA™ System, an integrated software solution connecting up to eight instruments into a single testing environment. At present, no industry solution links as many instruments in real time.
The system adds new capabilities through an adapter used in combination with Fann’s proprietary software, including the ability to start and stop processes, monitor tests and simultaneously record multiple data sets.
By connecting several machines performing individual functions, users can integrate previously separate tasks and generate greater efficiency and reliability among instruments.
A key component of the system allows users to automate tests by creating customized run schedules, which decreases the time required to monitor equipment.
The DNA™ System is compatible with Fann’s existing product line, including RheoVADR® Rheometer, Model 740/741 Temperature Controllers and the HT4700 HPHT Filter Press. Additional offerings will be available in the future.
