Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Sundyne, a leader in the design and manufacture of highly engineered centrifugal pumps and compressors for use in the global oil and gas production, refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries, announced a Gearbox Exchange programme for their popular line of integrally geared centrifugal pumps.
Applicable to Sundyne pump models 331, 333 and 338, the gearbox conversion programme offers an easy, cost effective means for Sundyne customers to increase reliability and efficiency, and to extend mean time between repair (MTBR). The upgraded gearbox design includes an improved lube oil pump, anti-rotation plate, anti-friction bearings and bearing plate; as well as the newly introduced desiccant breather and ultra low leak SundSEAL gearbox output seal.
Participants in the Sundyne Gearbox Exchange programme can trade in their current vertical and horizontal mounted gearboxes for a new gearbox assembly to receive a significant return credit. Gearboxes that are upgraded under the programme are covered by the same warranty as a brand new Sundyne unit.
This initiative also ensures that any gearbox repairs or upgrades made to the Sundyne install base anywhere in the world are performed using Sundyne genuine parts. Exchanged Sundyne gearboxes are compliant with industrial standards and operational specifications, thereby providing peace of mind for operators who demand the most from their equipment.
