Flowserve to introduce New Bearing Gard bearing isolator
FlowServe Corporation has announced plans to debut its new bearing gard isolator at the 2014 Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia in Houston on Tuesday, September 23.
FlowServe holds that one of the major causes of pump downtime is contamination of the bearing lubrication system. The new FlowServe bearing isolator can significantly reduce this contamination, in part due to the addition of static shut-off technology. FlowServe has also developed a faster manufacturing process to provide same day manufacturing and shipping, even on custom bearing isolator orders.
Ken Lavelle, President, FlowServe Seal Operations, commented: “The Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia provides an ideal setting for our customers and the media to get a firsthand look at a product that offers several significant improvements over previous bearing isolator designs. We expect that our customers will be exceited about these new features, especially when coupled with the fact that we offer same-day shipment for standard as well as custom sizes”.
