Ariff Ahmad, Manager of Operations & Logistics at Petronas Base Oil Son Bhd, was one of many senior figures who attended the show. He commented: “I am involved on both the commercial side of storage and also as a user. Tank Storage Asia provided me with the opportunity to listen to market updates, observe trends and witness what the future of the storage industry is looking like”.

Nikmil Jain, Product Development Manager at Drewry Maritime Services said: “The event presented a good opportunity for people within the industry to search for information on the newest and latest technologies and market knowledge. The conference also provided a lot of useful information, fresh ideas, as well as introducing us to a lot of potential investors and strategy makers from the industry”.

The show featured its strongest ever line up, with talks by 20 leading industry authorities, drawn from around the world. They explored an array of critical industry themes within the bulk liquid storage sector including the shale boom, the storage market in China and the growth of the Asian biofuels market.

Conference attendee Hazlina Jalil, Head of Planning at Johor Petroleum Development Corporation Berhad was impressed by the conference program: “The knowledge and experience shared by the speakers at the Tank Storage Asia was invaluable”.

The show has grown over the last number of years and the event continues to deliver key buyers for the bulk liquid storage industry in Singapore and South East Asia. This year resulted in a major contract being signed for Vacono, providing a massive return on our investment and opened doors to enlarging our market share and references. The show was busy on both days and the location also attracted more visitors than the former years. We are looking forward to being back in Singapore in 2015”.

Show organizer, easyFairs, is now focused on taking Tank Storage Asia to the next level. Nick Powell, StocExpo & Tank Storage Portfolio Event Director concludes: “Tank Storage Asia exceeded all expectations this year.
