Hydrocarbon Engineering,

hte – the high throughput experimentation company (hte) has been awarded the supply of a high throughput unit as the result of a tender floated by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). hte will commission and install the high throughput unit at AIST’s research centre in Japan during 2Q22.

The decision was made on the basis of hte’s track record in offering fully-automated workflow solutions that include advanced software and analytics combined with the company's expertise in complying with stringent Japanese high-pressure laws. The technology solution supplied to AIST is enhanced by the in-depth knowledge that hte has gained over the years through contract research in related projects, a service that is core to the company's activity along with the provision of technology solutions.

For AIST, the unit will be an invaluable tool to develop catalytic processes for a wide range of chemical processes with a particular focus on CO2 utilisation.

Wolfram Stichert, CEO at hte, commented: “We are thrilled about the trust placed in hte by a reputed research institute such as AIST to supply a unit aiming to enhance their research in the field of sustainable chemistry. We take great pride in implementing this state-of-the-art technology in Japan, a region where we have been present for more than a decade.”
