Toyo Engineering Korea wins FEED contract

Toyo Engineering Korea Ltd has announced that it has been awarded the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contract for PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk’s (CAP) new polyethylene project.

The project is to construct a swing plant of HDPE, LLDPE and mLLDPE with a total capacity of 400 000 tpy at CAP’s existing petrochemical complex in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia.

The plant, which is expected to start up in 2020, will increase CAP’s total polyethylene production capacity from 336 000 tpy to 736 000 tpy.
