USA Compression CEO wins Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015
Ernst and Young has announced that CEO Eric D. Long of USA Compression Partners, one of the nation’s largest independent providers of compression services, has been named 2015 national winner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in the Energy, Cleantech and Natural Resources category.
Long was selected as the Central Texas regional award winner in June 2015 and was among 11 national category winners recognised for entrepreneurial excellence at the EY National Awards Gala, held 14 November, 2015 in Palm Springs, California. The award recognises outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“It was an honour to be recognised by Ernst and Young and my peers in the Central Texas region in June. To be recognised at the national level is truly humbling. This is another win for all of the hardworking men and women of USA Compression, without whom the company could not have achieved what it has over the last 17 years,” said Long, who co-founded the company in 1998. USA Compression Partners completed its initial public offering in January 2013.
