Atlas Copco has been recognised by the annual Global 100 list as one of the world’s most sustainable companies.

The list, presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, ranks companies that prove they are increasing productivity while using less resources.

Atlas Copco was ranked 46 on the list, and it was the 8th time the company appeared.

‘We believe in creating long lasting value for our customers and shareholders by integrating social and environmental responsibility into our operations’, commented Mala Chakrabouti, Atlas Copco Vice President Corporate Responsibility.

Atlas Copco sustainability goals include boosting customer energy efficiency by at least 20% between 2010 – 2020, decreasing CO2 emissions, working actively to eliminate corruption and promoting access to clean drinking water in countries in need.
