Petrofac has chosen to expand the use of Intergraph Smart™ solutions in the execution of its global engineering projects. The renewed three-year contract includes license agreements for the SmartPlant® Enterprise solution portfolio, containing Intergraph Smart 3D for engineering design and SmartPlant Foundation for centralised, integrated engineering information management.
With over three decades of experience in executing major projects in the oil and gas industry, Petrofac has established its position as a leading provider of oil and gas engineering services globally, and currently has one of the largest backlogs in the industry. Petrofac uses a variety of software platforms to optimise efficiency in its projects with Intergraph being one of the selected products in its portfolio.
