Alfa Laval has announced it has won an order to supply Alfa Laval compact heat exchangers to a refinery in Russia. The order was booked in the Energy & Process segment and has an estimated value of SEK 60 million. Delivery is expected in 2016 and 2017.
The order includes the delivery of Alfa Laval compact heat exchangers for the preheating of crude oil in different steps of the refinery process. The installation will result in a design with fewer space requirements than traditional solutions.
“I am very pleased to announce this refinery order where our heat exchangers play an important role to make the installation both compact and more energy efficient,” commented Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
